Bespoke oak kitchen with natural stone worktops

Bespoke furniture & woodwork

Made for your home.
Built for everyday life.

I design and make bespoke furniture, fitted cabinetry and interior woodwork. Thoughtful pieces, natural materials and a direct relationship with the person who makes them.

What I make

An awkward alcove, a well-used kitchen or a room that needs more storage. I turn the way you live into woodwork that feels at home.

Bespoke furniture

Dining tables, sideboards and shelving with balanced proportions, tactile finishes and carefully made joints.

The process

From a first idea to the final fit.

You work directly with me throughout. I keep the drawings, choices, costs and timing clear, so you always know what comes next.

01/ Talk & measure

Tell me what you need, how you use the space and the budget you have in mind. After an initial conversation, I visit to take accurate measurements and look at the details that matter.

02/ Design & agree

I develop a practical design and a clear, itemised quotation. We review drawings, timber samples and finishes together, then agree the specification and schedule before I start making.

03/ Make & install

I make your piece in the workshop, keeping you informed as it takes shape. I then fit it carefully in your home, check the finishing details with you and explain how to care for the wood.

The maker

One maker. A personal way of working.

I’m Oliver Bennett, an independent carpenter and furniture maker. I enjoy finding the quiet details that make a piece work: a well-balanced edge, useful storage, a finish that feels good to touch. From the first sketch to installation, you speak directly with me. I work with considered joinery and repairable finishes, making furniture that can settle into your home and grow more character with use.

Tell me about your idea. A few photographs, rough dimensions, your location and an ideal timeframe are a useful starting point. I’ll get back to you to discuss the next step.
